Company: Timberlake Playhouse
Role: Technical Director
This is a compilation of shows I did across Timberlake Playhouse's 2022 summer season
The crew for most of the summer consisted of me, another carpenter, and the charge artist who doubled as carpenter when she could. We'd get extra help from other technicians and some actors when they were available but it was uncommon.
All of the shows I did at TLP were done with strict budget and labor. I was in charge of managing all aspects of the scenic department from picking up lumber and hardware to attending production meetings to creating load out itineraries.

The design of the set was very decorative, with beach towels stapled to the walls of the theater and masts on the sides of the stage that could swivel in place.

The set had an art deco style so everything needed extra details and fine cuts.
Most of the walls were stock but all the door frames needed to be built, with so many slamming doors the wall system needed to be extra secure.

This set used every caster we had and then some, the two biggest pieces were the grand stair case and the orphanage, both needing to move easily mid scene for nice transitions.
